Position Overview
We are looking for a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to develop and execute exploratory and automated tests to ensure product quality.
He/She is responsible for designing and implementing tests, debugging and defining corrective actions. Also review system requirements and track quality assurance metrics. Our ideal applicant will oversee running tests prior to the launch of a product to guarantee that the software operates smoothly.
Responsibilies:
- Ability to handle work under pressure and Constrained timelines
- Contribute to defining of test strategies and test planning
- Perform test design and the development of test scenarios
- Design, develop and execute Performance Test Scripts
- Design, develop and execute automation scripts
- Perform test execution, analyze test results and communicate test results
- Mentor, train, and lead a team of Quality Engineers
Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science or Related Field
- A minimum 1-year work experience in software testing
- Strong knowledge of software testing processes, practices, and test design techniques.
- Knowledge of API Testing
- Experience in test automation using open-source tools such as Selenium
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in DevOps and CI/CD would be an added Advantage
- Experience in performance testing using JMeter would be an added advantage.
